About the role

  • Patient Food Service Officers are responsible to provide inpatient meals and mid meals in a safe and efficient manner. Following set procures and rules to provide the correct meal to the correct patient.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of the operations of a large food service, particularly in health care and the ability to perform operational functions within a food service, stock control, stock ordering, meal plating, portion control, meal delivery and wash up.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, work to time frames, follow food safety guidelines and to work with supervisor's instruction.
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement, participation in food safe activities, programs and ability to implement change.
