About the role: 

As a Senior Training Officer, you will proactively assess training needs and delivery of structured prerequisite eLearning, and deliver training classroom based learning sessions and activities, required to meet the learning needs of the end users. The role will be assigned to the central team and work collaboratively with Business Implementation Team (BIT) members and local Subject Matter Experts to successfully promote high level stakeholder engagement and learning support for end users. The ability to travel intra-state is a requirement of this role.

About the Integrated Workforce Management Program: 

The Integrated Workforce Management (IWFM) Program is a key strategic initiative for Queensland Health that will enhance the roster-to-pay process, deliver positive outcomes to support enhanced workforce management and drive the delivery of tangible benefits for both Hospital and Health Services (HHS) and the Department of Health, through improved tools, processes, and access to workforce decision-support information where and when it is needed.

What we are looking for: 

  • Strong background in the development, implementation, delivery and evaluation of training deliverables.
  • Proven ability to conduct detailed learner assessments in alignment with IWFM curriculum and course content.
  • Experience in conducting and documenting Training Needs Analysis, learning outcomes/knowledge transfer assessment, scheduling of training courses and completion of training registers.┬á
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively liaise consult and negotiate with a diverse range of stakeholders and build positive relationships in an environment of change.
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment developing effective working relationships with team members and stakeholders.
  • A proven track record working with minimal supervision including the ability to plan and meet priorities, accountabilities, performance indicators and deadlines.
