Description:
The Department of Anesthesiology Perioperative and Pain Medicine, Alberta Health Services Calgary Zone, invites applications for the position of 2 PLC Vascular Anesthesiologists with TEE.  A standard position in the division will be a 0.8 FTE. The starting date for this position will be on June 1, 2024. To participate fully in the PLC Section of Anesthesiology, including clinical activities, on-call responsibilities and Academic support, starting FTE would be 0.8; this could be modified after discussion with Zone and Section Leadership. Specific clinical responsibilities would include participation in the TEE call roster, support of Academic POCUS and TEE programs. |
Qualifications:
Applicants must be a qualified MD or equivalent, with specialist certification in┬áanesthesiology, eligibility for licensure in the Province of Alberta for independent anesthesia care.┬á The candidate must be eligible of TEE within AB plus Fellowship. The candidate must have one yearÔÇÖs experience post-Fellowship. The successful Candidate will have their FRCPC in Anesthesia; have demonstrated the ability┬áto work with a multi-disciplinary team; superior interpersonal communication skills; and a strong┬ácommitment to delivering innovative anesthetic care.
