Alberta Health Services, South Zone is currently recruiting for a┬áfull-time Cardiologist┬áfor the Chinook Regional Hospital (CRH).

The successful candidate will:

Establish and maintain a full-time Cardiology practice in the community of Lethbridge;
Provide inpatient consultations (including ICU);
Provide outpatient cardiac services;
Provide on-call support as per AHS's on-call schedules;
Participate within the established Heart Function Clinic, Cardiac Device Clinic, and Cardiac Rehabilitation Program;
Obtain and maintain an AHS Medical Staff Appointment and appropriate privileges to provide the services;
Participate in quality improvement programs and initiatives.

The successful candidate:

Must have or be eligible for FRCPC or equivalent; with a Fellowship in Cardiology;
Must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.
