The General Orthopedic Surgeon will:Assess patients with musculoskeletal complaints, injuries, or disorders through physical examinations, medical histories, and diagnostic testsDevelop treatment plans tailored to the patient's conditionPerform surgical procedures to repair or reconstruct musculoskeletal structuresPrescribe and oversee the use of orthotic devices (braces, splints) or prosthetic limbs when needed to support patient mobilityManage pain associated with musculoskeletal conditions through various methodsEducate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures to maintain musculoskeletal healthAdvise patients on strategies to prevent orthopedic injuries and conditionMaintain accurate and thorough medical records, documenting patient histories, examinations, treatments, and surgical proceduresPerform other duties, as neededQualifications:Licensed to practice Medicine Board Eligible / CertifiedAbout Nashville General Hospital:Nashville General has been serving our community for over a century.We are passionate about providing outstanding, comprehensive care to our patients, regardless of their ability to pay.
