The Kaye Edmonton Family Medicine Clinic is inviting applications from family physicians interested in up to a 0.6 FTE for longitudinal primary care.

The clinic currently has 12 physicians with diverse family practices. We provide after-hours telephone on-call (approximately 5 weeks/physician/year) and attend a weekly provider team meeting. The primary care team also includes registered nurses, social worker and access to other allied health members. On-site lab, diagnostic imaging and pharmacy are available. Clinic operations are fully computerized with Connect Care EMR.

This is a combined clinical practice and teaching environment. Successful candidates will be encouraged to hold clinical appointments in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Alberta, Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry. Successful candidates will also be expected to become members of the Edmonton O-day’min Primary Care Network.

Successful Candidates will have a functional knowledge of resources and challenges in Alberta’s primary health care system. This knowledge will be supported by the candidate having completed a two year Family Medicine Residency and by ongoing community primary care experience.

We are particularly interested in candidates who have superior interpersonal skills with a demonstrated commitment to teamwork and peer relationships. The successful candidate should be committed to fulfilling clinical and non-clinical duties as a representative of Family Medicine.

The successful candidate must be eligible for certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada and for medical licensure in the province of Alberta.
