The Emergency Department has a variety of Permanent band 5 posts available. Applicants should be motivated, keen to enhance their knowledge and skills, with evidence of ongoing personal development. The Emergency Department offers a wide variety of opportunities for personal and professional development. This post requires the successful candidates to have a broad knowledge base, adapt quickly to changes in activity and be an enthusiastic team member.
The Emergency Department see's over 35,000 attendees pre year. Day to day there are on average 100 patients but this can peak at 150. We see the full spectrum of patients with illness and injury covering all ages, approximately 20% being pediatric. We have a strong team ethos and a drive for continued improvement .
