Leveraging deep industry knowledge and an extensive network, GrowthExpertz can meet the varied talent needs of growing businesses.About the Eligibility & Planning Specialist role:We are seeking a diligent and client-focused Eligibility & Planning Specialist for our client to guide and support clients in achieving eligibility for Medicaid Long Term Care (LTC) benefits. This role involves detailed eligibility planning, comprehensive client onboarding, financial assessment, and effective communication to ensure a smooth transition through the application process. The ideal candidate will possess strong case management skills, a solid understanding of Medicaid LTC guidelines, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.Responsibilities:Manage a caseload of clients, ensuring personalized guidance through the Medicaid eligibility and application process.Conduct initial client onboarding, review financial data, and strategize customized eligibility plans.Secure and review necessary legal and financial documents, ensuring compliance with Medicaid guidelines.Collaborate with team members for the efficient hand-off of cases, maintaining quality and timeliness throughout the process.Stay informed on state and federal Medicaid regulations, adapting strategies as needed.Use company-provided productivity tools for case management in a remote work environment.Maintain high levels of client confidentiality and adhere to data security policies.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in related fields is a plus.Proficiency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.Experience in Medicaid long-term care, financial planning, or case management preferred.Comfortable with basic math and financial calculations; proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.Benefits:Starting compensation of $20/hour with advancement, incentive programs and growth opportunitiesPaid time off for federal U.S. holidays; additional personal time off (PTO)We provide you with a work computer, and related software/hardwareHealth insurance reimbursement program (QSEHRA)Career opportunity to become a Certified Medicaid PlannerThis role is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of clients navigating the complexities of Medicaid benefits.
