The Role
Seeking Accredited Registrars who are eager to provide contemporary Emergency Care to the Gippsland South Coastal region.  This unique setting provides the opportunity to support both the Emergency Department (ED) at the local hospital, and the linked Urgent Care Centre nearby.

The Location
Nestled in the central region of Gippsland, a mere short distance from the coastline, this well-loved town in East Gippsland is enveloped by lush national parks, verdant forests, and picturesque beaches. Serving as a favored rest stop, the town of Recharge boasts an array of superb cafes, delightful bakeries, and captivating galleries. Positioned along Victoria's stunning coastline, this gem is conveniently situated just a smooth 90-minute drive to the southeast of Melbourne.

The Emergency department transfers approximately 10 critical care patients a month for a variety of diagnoses including acute neurosurgical, cardiological, toxicological or trauma related conditions. The Urgent Care Centre sees around 10,000 patients annually. This is a growing Health Service which is designated as a sub-regional service and has just received $115 million from government to build a vibrant and significantly expanded Emergency Department.
