Location: Henley on ThamesJob Type: Full-time/Part-timeSalary: Competitive, based on experienceWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Lymphoedema Nurse or Physiotherapist to join our team in Henley on Thames. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with lymphoedema and related conditions, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.Key Responsibilities:Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with lymphoedema and related conditionsImplement and evaluate treatment interventions, including manual lymphatic drainage, compression therapy, exercise prescription, and skin care educationMonitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal resultsProvide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers on lymphoedema management and self-care techniquesCollaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient careParticipate in ongoing professional development and maintain current knowledge of best practices in lymphoedema managementAdhere to all relevant professional standards, guidelines, and regulationsEssential Requirements:Degree in Nursing or Physiotherapy from an accredited institutionCurrent registration with the relevant professional body (NMC or HCPC)Certification in lymphoedema management from a recognized training programMinimum of 2 years of experience working with lymphoedema patients in a clinical settingExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilitiesCompassionate and empathetic approach to patient careDesirable Qualifications:Experience working in a multidisciplinary team environmentAdditional training or certification in related fields, such as wound care, oncology, or palliative careKnowledge of the local healthcare system and resources available to lymphoedema patientsTo apply, please submit your CV and a cover letter outlining your suitability for the role.
