In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering a high standard of anaesthetic care to all patients, encompassing perioperative care, audit, education, research, and management. Additionally, you'll manage acute, chronic, and persistent pain conditions, as well as pain complicated by other medical conditions.

Join us at our 160-bed facility, serving as the primary referral center for the vibrant North West Tasmanian community. Our ICU features eight beds and handles a diverse caseload, including trauma patients, sepsis, post-operative complications, cardiac issues, and respiratory ailments.

Requirements:
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

• Hold registration with AHPRA and possess a minimum of 12 months recent experience.
• Be enrolled in the ANZCA training program.
• Possess the FANZCA qualification.
• Be an IMG eligible for the Competent Authority Pathway from the UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, or NZ.
• Be an IMG with an upcoming ANZCA interview date.
• Have been assessed by ANZCA and deemed substantially comparable.
