Facility Overview:
Our service caters to a population of approximately 116,000 across two major sites situated approximately 50km apart. The Emergency Departments handle an estimated 30,000 patient visits annually, serving a diverse patient demographic. One site functions as the regional trauma center, boasting a 25% admission rate, while the other serves as a sub-acute hospital with a 15% admission rate.

Our ED holds accreditation from the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine for 24 months of training, with an application for year 4 training currently under review.

Requirements:
To apply, candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

• Hold registration with AHPRA and possess a minimum of 12 months recent experience.
• Be enrolled in the ACEM training program.
• Be IMGs eligible for the Competent Authority Pathway from the UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, or NZ.
• Be IMGs with an upcoming ACEM interview date.
• Have been assessed by ACEM and deemed substantially comparable.
