If so, and if you have the hand, heart, and competency to be part of our team, lend us your skills to give hope to healing.About you:We need an IV Nurse to join Dr. Tom’s medical team, licensed in California.As the IV Nurse, you will administer IV and IM injections with as little discomfort as possible to our patients.Our ideal candidate is someone who pays close attention to details, is highly perceptive and analytical, is meticulous in their approach to holistic healthcare, and can perform to their highest potential and meet our deliverables. This is initially a part-time (one day per week) position with the potential to be full time and we will require you to work onsite at 3121 Park Ave Suite D, Soquel, California, United States.IV Nurse Goals:make nervous patients at ease with minimally invasive proceduresprovide services according to Institutional policies and procedures under the supervision of the onsite attending physician to ensure the delivery of services is done safely, respectfully, and in a dignified manner.document services and patient experiences according to professional standards of the Clinic, Community, and Statemaintain a knowledge and skill base of the therapies used within the Institution with appropriate ongoing Continuing Medical Education.IV Nurse Responsibilities:Review History and Physical Exam, chart notes, indications/contraindications, allergies, verification of Informed Consent, and confirmation of patient identity, procedure, and site on all new and returning patients.identify any new developments in patient status Perform peripheral IV venous cannulation for phlebotomy and Category 1 hydration Appropriately document patient history, evaluations, findings, clinical decision-making, and therapeutic plans in the clinic’s medical record system.Contribute to the Clinic’s continual quality improvement by providing meaningful feedback during regular Clinical Staff Meetings.Contribute to our local community through patient outreach and educational activities.IV Nurse Requirements:Licensed Integrative IV Nurse, under Section 2860.5 of the Nurses Practice Act.Over 3 years of supervised clinical experience.Strong willingness to learn integrative medicine.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Good documentation skills.Strong observational, analytical, and people skills.Detail-oriented, with the ability to see the bigger picture.A patient-centered mindset and commitment to excellence in the field of Integrative Medicine.
