About the roleCollaborating closely with our wet lab scientists, you will provide essential bioinformatics support for gene editing initiatives. From informing experiment design to analysing CRISPR/Cas9 experiments and large-scale single-cell expression quantitative trait locus (eQTL) projects, you will be at the forefront of innovative research.As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to:Collaborate with dynamic computational groups and software developers to create and implement novel bioinformatics toolsSupervise and manage junior staff, fostering an environment of growth and achievementProject manage bioinformatic tasks, establishing timelines, allocating tasks and ensuring project successWork with key stakeholders and faculty to contribute to strategic decisions and publicationsAbout youEssential SkillsTechnical experience: MSc in Bioinformatics or a Biology-related discipline plus bioinformatic experience in a research or commercial environment Experience in developing computational pipelines and the use and management of relational databases Experience in one of the following: design and analysis of CRISPR-screening experiments, variant calling or analysing omic datasets Proficiency in scripting for bespoke analysis using Python, R, Perl or similarBehavioural competencies: Excellent organisational skills, able to multi-task and prioritise effectively Ability to promote a culture of collaboration and motivated to intellectually contribute to colleagues projects Creative thinking and problem-solving, demonstrable evidence of introducing novel ideas and techniques Enjoy working in diverse teams, demonstrating dignity and respect for allPlease use the below link for job application and quicker response:https://lifelancer.com/jobs/view/f9efaa0ee4675600d5fca0f8a7c5c4e6
