We are looking for exceptional Otolaryngology consultants to join our Ear, Nose and Throat department at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital (SCUH), Birtinya. The Senior Medical Officer or Visiting Medical Officer (Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery) is responsible for providing high quality ENT surgical management across the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS).

• Temporary part time position with a subspecialty interest in Rhinology is highly desirable.
• Temporary full time position with a subspeciality interest in Head and neck surgery is highly desirable. 

SCHHS Salary includes: (SMO)

• Base salary comprising of between
  • $97.84 - $124.05 p.h.
• Motor vehicle allowance (pro rata for Part-time)
  • L18 - L24 $21,000 p.a.
  • L25 - L27 $25,500 p.a.
• Attraction and Retention Allowance up to 50% of base salary
• Professional development allowance $21,500 p.a. (pro rata for Part-time)

SCHHS Salary includes: (VMO)

• Base salary comprising of between
  • $180.46 - $214.47 p.h.
• Fuel Allowance up to $2350 p.a.
• Professional Development Allowance up to $5000 p.a.
• Tier 2 payment based on on call requirement

* A mandatory requirement of being employed as a Visiting Medical Officer with Queensland Health is that you are engaged in private practice.
