About you:
You are a qualified Pharmacist with proven experience in a clinical pharmacy position and a demonstrated ability to apply evidence in a practical manner to achieve improved patient outcomes. You have high knowledge of contemporary, human resource management issues both at the broad and specific level, with reference to workplace health and safety, employment equity and anti-discrimination and demonstrated ability to work co-operatively with less experienced pharmacists and pharmacy assistants to deliver clinical pharmacy services while fostering teamwork and professional development.
Your opportunity:
To deliver high-level clinical pharmacy services within the allocated unit/s as a member of a multidisciplinary team. This role incorporates a focus on First Nations and Rural and Remote patients within the community services across the Region.
Provide leadership and high-level pharmacy services (including a specialist pharmacy resource in First Nations Care), with expertise in the allocated area to patients who present to Innisfail, Tully, and Babinda Hospitals, to a complex and varied workload, with a high degree of independence and initiative, to develop services and promote and maintain best practice care to patients.
To provide care and education using Telehealth and internet services to rural and remote regions to improve equity of access for patients including those who self-identify as First Nations.
