We are currently seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist on a full-time basis to operate medical diagnostic imaging equipment and assist in imaging procedures such as angiography and cardiac catheterization (CC) as well as those performed in the Interventional Radiology Lab (scrubbing, circulating, and recording/monitoring patient status). Job ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate accountability and responsibility and performs procedures and care in a caring, compassionate, and respectful mannerPrepare and position patients and equipment in a safe, competent manner in accordance with established operating proceduresPerform technical radiographic procedures in accordance with established operating procedures and routines accurately and in a timely mannerAssist in administration of contrast media in accordance with departmental policies and proceduresObtain high-quality radiographic imagesObtain and document all pertinent patient information prior to exam, i.e., patient history, pregnancy, allergies and obtains informed consentMaintain effective communication with patient, e.g., provide explanation of procedures within scope of practiceMaintain proactive and effective communication with radiologistsQualifications Associates Degree from a 2-year accredited institution or Radiologic Technology SchoolCurrent ARRT credential; RCIS credential also considered in conjunction with minimum Interventional Radiology (IR) experienceMinimum of 1 3 years licensed experience in Radiology to include at least one (1) year of IR experienceAngio, Peripheral and Neuro experience a plusBLS required upon hire; ACLS requiredGeneral CommentsAdditional InformationCompensation: Salary range from $23.23 - $38.21 based on years of experienceSign on Bonus up to $5K
