About the role:

Deliver as part of a multidisciplinary team, high level independent evidenced based Orthoptic services across single or multiple modalities within the Ophthalmology team, to relevant stakeholders/customers across Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CQHHS). Provide clinical practice supervision to students and staff.

About you:

To be successful in this role you must have a tertiary degree qualification (or equivalent diploma prior to 1990) in Orthoptics and registration with the Australian Orthoptic Board.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of orthoptic investigations and of the operation and applications of contemporary equipment.
  • Ability to function as a member of a multidisciplinary team, and to interact with patients and members of the public.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet targets, work without direct supervision and to accepted standards of professional conduct in a continuous quality improvement environment.

What we offer:

Salary information:

Total remuneration value of up to $128,706 p.a. is comprised of:

  • A salary between $3,223.00 - $4,323.80 p.f.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
