Stable work environment Career progression KEY RESPONSIBILITIES To oversee the team of registered and enrolled nurses, nursing aides and healthcare assistants Quality and Patient Safety Responsible for compliance of all nursing standards as stipulated by Ministry of Health (MOH) and Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) Lead quality assurance activities to monitor and evaluate the quality and appropriateness of nursing care. Ensures quality audits are planned and conducted periodically. Follow up with areas for corrective improvements Promote evidence-based practices or nursing care delivery Ensure written policies and procedures and work process are available and up to date to guide the nursing care delivery Care Delivery Ensure the smooth transition of residents from acute to chronic care and back to the community, where possible Direct care of the residents to ensure compliance to standards Staff Resources Ensure appropriate skills mix and adequate manpower resourcing for all shifts and types of services Staff Development Direct and facilitate staff development, skills and competency upgrading through various opportunities.
