There are 8 theatres at this Hospital, plus a hybrid lab, MRI, and pain service.
Approximately 22 employed consultants (vast majority VMOs), 2 provisional Fellows
12-14 juniors, 6 of which are ANZCA registrars, 2 GP registrars
Always a registrar on-call at night. + then consultant. Juniors attached to the majority of lists - all specialities covered except cardiothaoracic and neurosurgery.
On-call commitments - 4 weekends/year and
No more than 1.5 on-call month average.

Provide contemporary comprehensive specialist anaesthetic services for optimal patient outcomes.
Provide and support training to clinicians across multiple disciplines to achieve quality education and safe clinical practice.
