The Hosptial The ED has dedicated areas for resuscitation, acute presentations, ambulant and fast track presentations, paediatrics, dedicated metal health assessment and procedure room. The department is the tablelands telestroke centre and is actively involved in telehealth with the smaller rural hospitals This hospital has inpatient services include Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, O&G, Paediatrics, Anaesthetics, Psychiatry The focus of the unit is on providing excellence in patient care, training and education and a cohesive team culture. You will find the workload busy enough to gain exposure to a large variety of cases from all age groups but quiet enough to be encouraged to practice evidence-based medicine. You will be well supported by a team with a good mix of experience and enthusiasm providing mentoring and support. The Department This Hospital has a busy ED with approximately 18,000 presentations per year with 25% admission rate. and 25% paediatric presentations. Led by the FACEM Director, this ED department is staffed by a group of dynamic CMOs who promote an active, stimulating and supportive work environment. The new Emergency Department redevelopment opened in 2018 as part of the new development of the Hospital including a new medical ward, operating theatres and HDU, is the Rural Referral Hospital for the Tableland. Your full specialist training in the UK, USA, Canada or Ireland.
Have had your specialist training assessed by the ACEM and have been found to be comparable.
