The Facility This is the main regional rural referral hospital for the North west area of NSW. After recent completion of $220 Million redevelopment the hospital now has 348 treatment spaces and conduct over 9,000 surgical procedures each year across 5 theatres. The trauma centre is equipped with a locally based helicopter retrieval service and is complemented by an extensive network of locally based Medical Specialists. The Position You will be joining a team of five Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, lead by an experienced Clinical Director. You will work in a close-knit department which encourages collaboration and collegiate relationships across the multi-disciplinary team. You will be providing generalist obstetrics and gynaecology services in a rural environment with the opportunity to also pursue your interest in laparoscopic surgery. The role includes inpatient and emergency consultations, outpatient gynaecology and antenatal clinics, elective and emergency theatre lists, as well as equitable participation on the acute on-call roster.
