Total remuneration value of up to $470,780 (L24) is comprised of:
A salary between $204,206 - $237,196 (L18-L24)
Total remuneration value of up to $514,452 (L27) is comprised of:
A salary between $244,201 - $258,910 (L25-L27)

The Hospital The hospital has recently completed a significant $408 million renovation and expansion project, which has doubled the number of beds to over 300 and increased its size by 40,000m², including a new Emergency Department. As a result, the hospital now stands as a state-of-the-art, fully modern facility and is one of Australia’s largest regional healthcare facilities.
The Staff Specialist will join a multidisciplinary team of physicians specializing in various subspecialties such as endocrinology, respiratory, infectious disease, oncology, neurology, nephrology, and acute medicine. This team works closely with the cardiology department, which provides a 24/7 Primary PCI service, as well as the emergency medicine department, led by a FACEM, and the intensive care unit, led by CICM specialists.
The Requirements
MBBS or equivalent
Registration with the Medical Board of Australia with Specialist registration in General Medicine or Subspecialty or appropriate registration with the Medical Board of Australia to practise in the specialist position and;
Fellowship or eligibility for Fellowship via the substantial comparability pathway of the Royal Australian College of Physicians (RACP).
Mandatory possession of a qualification from a registered tertiary institution and Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency with a current annual practicing certificate is essential.
