The Role: A position is available for a proficient and motivated anesthetist to join this healthcare organization. You will be accountable for providing high-level strategic leadership and guidance, while also ensuring efficient use of resources. You will administer specialized anesthesia treatment and care to patients, including on-call duties.

Situated only two hours north of Melbourne, the area boasts magnificent food and wine, delightful weather, and all the amenities and attractions one could hope for in a regional city. The Facility: With a total of 228 beds, this healthcare facility offers acute and extended care services including surgical, medical, paediatric, obstetrics and gynaecology, intensive care, psychiatry, as well as extended care and regional services. Its catchment population of around 90,000 benefits from its comprehensive range of medical services. The region experiences a high rate of road accidents, skin cancer, farm injuries, and work-related accidents. During the fruit harvest season, the population in the area increases significantly, with approximately 10,000 itinerant workers from all over Australia and overseas visiting the region. As a result, the hospital commonly treats injuries such as snake bites, cuts, scratches from branches, falling from a fruit picking ladder, and allergic reactions.
The Requirements:
Must hold the FANZCA and have demonstrated leadership experience.
