The Role:
Full-time - Obstetrician and Gynaecologist - 2024.  The O&G department see approximately 1500 births per year, has both Gynaecology and Obstetric theatre sessions and runs many O&G clinics.  The service is supported by an outstanding team of experienced midwives, allied health units, visiting subspecialists of a Gynaecological Oncologist and Urogynaecologist.
 
The department has a strong affiliation with two major medical universities- research and teaching opportunities are available;

The Facility:
Our client is a state-of-the-art leading accredited regional hospital based in a university town and is a major training facility. The hospital offers a range of acute and sub-acute services. The Victorian State Government has announced a major redevelopment to be completed; This will encompass a new emergency department, an acute mental health facility, an intensive care unit, a women’s and children’s hub, an expanded critical care and at least 100 additional beds. These departments will be fitted out with the latest cutting-edge equipment and technology and will bring together new operating theatres, procedure rooms, endoscopy suites, consulting rooms, and high dependency care – delivering an additional 4,000 surgeries annually.

The Requirements:

• To apply you must be registered as a Specialist with AHPRA and hold the FRANZCOG.
• IMGs assessed by RANZCOG and deemed Substantially Comparable are welcome.
• New Zealand FRANZCOG
• IMG 10+ years experience SST Pathway
