UHBW – Locum Consultant in Diabetes & Endocrinology and General Internal Medicine

University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Trust is delighted to have the opportunity to be able to appoint a locum consultant (initially for a 7-month period) to join our well established multi-disciplinary diabetes & endocrinology team. This is a full-time (10PA) post and will offer exposure to specialist secondary and tertiary diabetes and endocrine services in our dynamic and thriving teaching hospital. Applicants must hold a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or have evidence of being within six months of award of CCT or equivalent by the date of interview. Main duties of the job

The department is actively involved in clinical research and teaching trainees, including specialty GRID training. The post gives the opportunity for teaching and to develop research interests within a team with a range of academic interests

Applicants should have a CCT or equivalent in Paediatric Endocrinology, Diabetes SPIN or equivalent or be within six months of achieving this at the date of interview, or be listed on the GMC’s specialist register.
