About us:

The Medical Interim Care unit is a dynamic workplace which treats Central Queensland Adults for a variety of medical and geriatric conditions including Covid-19. The ward consists of 24 beds, made up of 10 single rooms, 2 negative pressure rooms and 6 double rooms.

About the Role:

A Nurse Grade 3 is an Enrolled Nurse who supports a Registered Nurse/Registered Midwife in the provision of person-centred care as specified by registration requirements, Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) standards and codes, educational preparation, relevant legislation, and context of care.

About you:

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
  • Current annual practicing certificate.
  • Demonstration in the provision of safe, evidence based, client focused care within the Medical Interim Care unit setting.
  • Ability to contribute towards the efficient functioning of the Medical Interim Care unit with a strong focus on effective teamwork within the multidisciplinary setting.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills that support competent health care practice.
  • Demonstrated ability to recognise and respond to the deteriorating patient within the Medical Interim Care unit setting.

Salary information:

Total remuneration value of up to $83,747 p.a. is comprised of:

  • A salary between $34.88 - $37.01 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
