The Position Seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Consultant to deliver acute medical services in our Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will be registered with FACEM or an equivalent professional body, with a proven track record of managing high acuity patients in a complex hospital setting.
Salary: $346,529 to $448,526 per annum, plus 11% superannuation

The Location Approximately 12 kilometers south of the central business and is a well-established suburb with a mix of residential, commercial, and educational facilities. It is well-connected by road and public transport, with easy access to the motorway, making it convenient to travel to and from other parts of Perth. The area is relatively green and leafy, with several parks and open spaces. The suburb has a diverse community and offers a range of amenities, including shops, cafes, and restaurants. The Facility This is a large 783 bed public teaching hospital within the Perth Metro area this is a modern multi-disciplinary hospital with over 6,000 rooms. The Emergency Department is one of the biggest in Australia with 72 beds including a paediatric emergency department with state-of-the-art technology built into every level of the hospital
The Requirements To apply for this position at a minimum you will
Hold a Fellowship with the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine or equivalent.
Have demonstrated experience in Emergency Medicine at a senior level and contemporary knowledge of professional issues and trends.
Sound understanding of remote area health service provision is desirable
