Your opportunity:

  • The purpose of the role is to provide expert specialised interventions, including education and insulin stabilisation for patients with diabetes. The position will also provide profession specific management, in addition to Diabetes Education, to patients with Diabetes.
  • To provide expert clinical and patient-centred care within Diabetes Education. Support the facilitation and provision of quality and cost-effective nursing services which are consistent with contemporary standards and evidence-informed practice. Responsible for a portfolio with a focus on clinical care/ leadership, management, education and/or research within Diabetes Education. The Clinical Nurse practices autonomously, applies critical thinking and provides leadership in clinical decision making to give and/or coordinate care to Diabetes Education clients. The Clinical Educator reports directly to the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) of Integrated Care Services.

Temporary Full Time (76 hours p.f.) from date of appointment until 30th June 2025.

Our offer

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $128,057 p.a., comprising salary between $104,816 - $112,236 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 6 (1)) (Temporary Full Time, 76 hours p.f., from date of appointment until 30th June 2025).
