Your opportunity:

  • The Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service has a significant role in recognising and responding to child abuse and neglect. Key Health Service child protection positions being Child Protection Advisor (CPA), Senior Paediatrician and Clinical Nurse Child Protection Liaison Officer (CPLO) have been appointed to assist staff to understand the responsibility of health professionals. The role is in the provision of services to children who have been harmed or are at This position is a key component to facilitate advanced liaison communication and information sharing, which has legislative basis between Department of Health internal stakeholder and external stakeholders.

Permanent Part Time Position (38 hours p.f.) and Temporary Part Time Position (22.8 hours p.f.) from date of appointment until 29th September 2024 with the possibility of extension.

Our offer:

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $64,028 p.a., comprising salary between $52.86 - $56.61 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 6 (1)) (Permanent Part Time Position, 38 hours p.f., and Temporary Part Time Position, 22.8 hours p.f., from date of appointment until 29th September 2024 with the possibility of extension) (Applications will remain current for 12 months).
