The Hospital: This is a modern 146 bed (level 1) Tertiary Teaching Hospital that provides a range of Acute Services including Emergency, Maternity, Intensive Care, General Medicine and Surgery, Medical Imaging, Pathology, Dialysis, Mental Health (Inpatient and community services) and a range of Ambulatory Services. The Hospital is affiliated with Universities for the provision of undergraduate and postgraduate Medical, Nursing and Allied Health education. Affiliations also exist for clinical placement and training. The Mental Health Service is a specialist service covering an area of 25,000 km. Mental Health Services offer the full range of public mental health services including a 12 bed inpatient acute unit, CAMHS, Adult and Aged Care Community Multidisciplinary Teams.
Requirements: Candidates must hold specialist registration with AHPRA in Psychiatry (FRANZCP). Candidates who hold the CCST will also be considered.
