The Facility: Our client is a state-of-the-art leading accredited regional hospital based in a university town and is a major training facility delivering a service to over 230,000 people.
The hospital offers a range of acute and sub-acute services. The Victorian State Government has announced a major redevelopment to be completed in the next few years.
An extensive oncology unit providing outpatient chemotherapy including at home treatments, two state of the art linear accelerators for radiotherapy services, inpatient facilities, research and clinical trials unit, and a wide range of allied health services including breast care nurses, prostate cancer specialist nurse, leukaemia supportive services coordinator, social workers, oncology pharmacists, physiotherapy, dietetics and occupational therapy.
The Role: Oversee the inpatient unit, providing teaching as well as guidance, all overseen by our team of very supportive consultants.
As an advanced trainee you will contribute to the oncology after hours on call roster, with all members of the unit participating.
The Requirements: You must hold current General Registration with AHPRA.
