The Hospital: Our client is a 131-bed hospital with over 350 qualified medical practitioners in what is the regional public hospital in WA.
Visitors and locals now have access to upgraded, modern treatment facilities with all clinical works in what has been a $59.6 million redevelopment of the main campus which officially opened in 2015. The completion of clinical works seamlessly ties into earlier phases of the redevelopment which included a palliative care unit, new emergency department, high dependency unit and medical imaging department.
The Role: An exciting opportunity for a Senior Medical Registrar/ Advanced Trainee to join our client. You will be responsible for the management of both inpatient and outpatient services. There are great opportunities to learn and do diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in General Medicine. There is a sizable population of Aboriginal patients providing fantastic opportunities to learn their culture and be involved in the care of these patients close to home.. There are 3 fulltime Consultant Physicians who would provide support and supervision. The role also provides leadership, training, supervision and education for junior medical doctors and training registrars in consultation with the Consultant Physicians. There are also opportunities for audits and research.
The Requirements: You must hold General registration with AHPRA or eligible for provisional registration via the CA Pathway or AMC Clinicals.
