About the Role

The Enrolled Nurse Advanced Skills (ENAS) practices under predominantly indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN); utilising advanced clinical skills to provide evidence-based person-centred care within Cassia Place. The ENAS applies their depth of knowledge, experience, and competence to effectively develop, provide and evaluate patient care, with regular communication and/or assistance from the RN. The ENAS practices at an advanced level, utilising clinical and leadership skills to provide high-quality person-centred care and optimise patient outcomes.

  • Demonstrate an advanced depth of knowledge, skills, experience, and competence in gerontological nursing care and effectively integrates theory into informed clinical practice.
  • Utilise knowledge and skills within scope of practice to plan nursing/midwifery care as delegated by the RN, communicating progress, and documenting accurately.
  • Assist in reviewing and evaluating Cassia Place's nursing standards and guidelines and may co-lead a nursing/quality portfolio.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to increase knowledge, skills and competencies through contributing to quality healthcare and educating and supporting less experienced staff through lifelong learning and professional development of self and others.
