Job Description:The post holder will work as a member of the multidisciplinary rehabilitation team.The post holder will support other teams as needed.The post holder will provide a comprehensive and high-quality OT and care management to patients with simple to complex needs within the intermediate care units and within the community.The post holder will be actively involved in team and service developments with the support of line manager.To develop strong working relationships within the multidisciplinary team.To provide supervision to band 5 OT(s), Rehabilitation Assistants and OT students whilst on placement in the service.To be actively involved in Continuing Professional Development.To be involved in caseload management with varied patients who have mobility, musculoskeletal, cognitive and neurological problems.Note:8-4 Monday to Friday or compressed hours x3 8-6, x1 8-5.30;To work within the community so car driver essential. Experience with reablement;rehabilitation in the community desirable. DBS required.
