A vacancy has become available for a dosimetrist to join our small, but very busy department supporting specialist cancer services to the Highlands & Islands of Scotland. The department is equipped with two Varian Truebeam Linear Accelerators and a Siemens Somatom Confidence RT Pro CT Scanner. We also have access to both MRI and PET-CT. The RayStation Treatment Planning system is in use and transit dosimetry via RadCalc EPID is routinely provided for all TPS-based plans. The Oncology Management System in use is Aria.
The postholder will be part of a small team which provides the treatment planning service for the Department of Clinical Oncology. They will contribute to all aspects of the planning service, covering the full range of sites and techniques. Continuing professional development of all staff is encouraged and supported.
