Job Description:Based in the PPU multi-profession therapy team alongside dietician, occupational therapists, speech and language therapist and therapy assistants and will have daily contact with the PPU clinical lead therapist.Responsible for the continuing development of a highly specialist physiotherapy service, providing expert assessment and treatment for adult inpatients in the PPU including ad-hoc outpatient services.Highly skilled and experienced in the Physiotherapy management of patients with a tracheostomy and respiratory conditions.A strong leader with line management and will also be required to support senior and junior physiotherapy staff, rehab technicians and students.Working as a key member of the multi-disciplinary team to ensure that patients receive timely assessments and interventions while taking responsibility for the management of a team.Deputizing for the Therapies and Dietetic Service Lead for PPU, to ensure the development of collaborative and multidisciplinary team working practices across the Private Patient's Unit.Be actively involved in Physiotherapy service development within PPU Service and assist clinical lead with audits.
