An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and motivated Midwife to become part of the Dingwall Community Midwifery Team.  This post is based in Dingwall and covers the Dingwall, Black Isle and Beauly caseloads.

We look after approximately 300 women per year and cover 9 GP practices. There may be occasions when the post holder may work within the other teams in Inner Moray Firth.  The successful candidate will be flexible in their approach, be a good team player and have excellent time management skills. 

Community experience is desirable but not essential and is suitable for Band 5 or Band 6 to apply. This is a 30 hour post and various hours may be considered with a minimum of 22.5 hours per week.  

There is an on call commitment required for the provision of a Home Birth/Domino service within the Inner Moray Firth community midwifery teams.

A UK Full / current driving licence and use of own car is essential for this post.

Dingwall has excellent road and rail links and Inverness airport is only 22 miles away.    Based 15 miles North West of Inverness which is the gateway to the Highlands and the start of the North Coast 500 which leads to stunning coastal scenery.  Dingwall is close to many lovely spots for walks, wild swimming, mountain biking, and Munros for outdoor enthusiasts.
