An exciting opportunity exists for a highly functioning multidisciplinary team member to deliver high level Psychology clinical services and leadership across one or more specific work units, to stakeholders/customers of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service and Queensland Health (SCHHS).            

Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south to Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include: 

  • Deliver independent high level Psychology clinical practice with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision, which includes conducting evidence-based clinical assessments and interventions within inpatient and outpatient settings in a timely, collaborative, and culturally sensitive manner.
  • Exercise professional judgement to a complex caseload, adapting routine clinical practice based on valid and reliable evidence.
  • Undertake clinical governance activities, such as the development of clinical practices and guidelines that support the continuum of care.
  • Provide high level clinical advice, education and influence towards a common patient-centred vision and direction to professional operational teams and relevant stakeholders regarding service delivery.

Remuneration value up to $152 776 p.a., comprising salary between $124 435 - $133 901 p.a. (f/t) or salary rates: $62.75 - $67.53 p.h. (p/t), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4). (Permanent Flexible Full time and Part time positions available, hours negotiable).
