About you:
You have previous work experience within the healthcare setting, ability to undertake and successfully complete the Australian Institute of Orthopaedic Technologies (AIOT) training modules, theory exams and practical assessments level 1-4 ( within a negotiated timeframe) upon commencement of the role. You can work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment and communicate effectively with patients and patients' families. You possess computer skills such as Microsoft office and excel and you are committed to ensuring safe, quality care for all patients and their families.
Your opportunity:
To provide operational and educational support in the efficient functioning of the Orthopaedic Department through provision of a comprehensive cast and technician services to adults and children. These activities are undertaken under the direct supervision and guidance from the senior medical officers of the Orthopaedic Department and in collaboration with the Multidisciplinary Team.
