About this Job:Join the Client Accounting Services (CAS) team to help run our high net worth and family office portion of the practice. This group is responsible for administering the accounting records for individuals and family members financial, tax, business and personal objectives. This group typically interfaces with family-owned operating companies. These companies invest in commercial real estate, private businesses and third-party managed funds. How You Will Contribute:Experience working as a controller for a family office or maintain records for high net worth individuals. You will be responsible for managing a team that performs the following:Daily processingRecord and reconcile investment activityMaintaining unfunded commitment schedulesPrepare month end closeMonthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting for companies and individualsWorking closely with the tax family office group to help in their preparation of tax returns for 1065 (partnership), 1040 (individual), 1041 (fiduciary), 990/990PF (foundations), 1120 (corp./scorp), 709 (gift), 1099s. Review of responses to Federal and various state notices. About YOU!CPA License required.Experience with Intacct preferred.8+ progressive years of experience with a focus on family office and high net worth individuals with average asset range $50mil $300 mil, up to 1 billion.Demonstrated ability to run a team servicing HNW/family office.DAILY ACCESS TO A VEHICLE to commute to and from offices and clients as needed.
