We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Community Staff Nurse to join the Extended Community Care Team in the Helensburgh and Lomond area. This is a part-time, permanent position, 30 hrs per week and includes weekend working and cover for late shifts until 10pm. The post holder will be based in Helensburgh/ Lochside area.

Working with Community Nurses and other professionals you will deliver planned programmes of care to individuals, families, carers and communities in the area. You will contribute to the delivery of health care in the community and assist in driving the reablement agenda, working directly with the multidisciplinary team to prevent hospital admission and facilitate discharge.

It is essential that you are a First Level Registered Nurse with current NMC registration and experience and skills relevant to community nursing. Previous community nursing experience would be desirable, however, other levels of experience would also be considered including newly qualified nurses.

You will have good communication skills, the ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team and be able to provide evidence of continuing professional development.

You must be a car driver/owner and hold a full driving licence.
