Forensic Acute is an 8 bedded male ward that is situated within the Blair unit in Royal Cornhill Hospital.

The role requires a highly motivated and enthusiastic Registered Mental Health Nurses to join our team as a Band 5 Staff nurse.  You will be expected to provide high quality evidence-based care and support to clients who experience a diverse range of mental health issues within the Forensic Services. The post is 37.5hrs per week over an 8 week period, covering day, night rotation and weekends.

The candidate should have good inter –personal skills and the ability to work within a team. The service has an established Forensic Team and the applicant must have effective communication skills. The role incorporates giving support and education to patients, carers, health professionals, working in partnership with the Forensic Team to provide a high level of care.

An attractive relocation allowance of up to £8,000 is available to successful candidates
