Location: Queensland Children's Hospital, Brisbane, Queensland

We are seeking a dedicated Paediatric Dermatologist to join our growing team of dermatologists, nurse practitioners, registrars and clinical nurses. Here are the details:

Position Overview:

  • Role: Paediatric Dermatologist
  • Employment Type: Up to 0.5 FTE (32 hours per fortnight VMO/40 hours per fortnight SMO) temporary
  • Positions Available:
    • Clinical Lead Dermatologist
    • General Dermatologists
  • VMO (Visiting Medical Officer) Positions:
    • Requirement to demonstrate ongoing private practice costs
    • Alternative SMO employment options
  • Team Focus:
    • Join our established paediatric dermatology team
    • Provide tertiary-level care to patients aged 0 to 16 years from across Queensland

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Board-certified or eligible in Dermatology
  • Passion for paediatric dermatology
  • Strong clinical skills and commitment to evidence-based practice
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and manage dermatological conditions in children and adolescents
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care
  • Contribute to teaching and training initiatives
  • Participate in research and quality improvement projects
