The Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs Service (CQMHAODS) provides specialized care for adult patients with mental health, substance abuse, and alcohol-related issues in the catchment area, which covers over 250,000 individuals. The main service center for this region maintains strong affiliations with specialized mental health services in southeast Queensland, the RANZCP Post Graduate Training, the Queensland Branch Training Committee, and the University of Queensland Rural Clinical School. Specialist registration with AHPRA as a FRANZCP, and RANZCP trainees who are six months away from obtaining fellowship are also welcome to apply.
International Medical Graduates from NZ, UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, South Africa, and Hong Kong who have been specialists for at least one to two years are also invited to apply.
