About the role:

In this role, you will work closely with the Director – Project Management Office to provide project management expertise and support for the successful delivery of complex, high-risk multi-disciplinary projects in Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CQHHS). You will use your high level of interpersonal, analytical and project management skills and experience to navigate the project lifecycle, delivering or supporting the delivery of projects in accordance with the agreed project parameters of success including scope, time, cost, and quality management principles.

  • Participate as an effective team member and work collaboratively with other multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholder groups to achieve outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain a portfolio of divisional projects, initiatives, and other information to provide high level visibility for the Director – Project Management Office.

About you:

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Experience in project management and the application of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques to achieve fit for purpose outcomes on time, within scope, budget, and in accordance with quality management principles.
  • Effective high-level written communication skills including the ability to prepare high quality documentation, accurate reports, and project communications.
  • The ability to demonstrate high level interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence, consult, and negotiate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to form collaborative solutions.

While not mandatory, a relevant tertiary qualification in Business Management and/or Project Management would be well regarded.

Salary information:

Total remuneration value of up to $12,000 p.m. is comprised of:

  • A hourly rate between $59.42 - $63.65 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
