About the Role

The purpose of this position is to provide specialised clinical and consultancy services within Logan Emergency Department and the Minor Injury and Illness Clinics (MIICs) at Eight Miles Plains Satellite Hospital and the Logan Urgent and Specialist Care Centre.

 The position delivers advanced primary contact musculoskeletal physiotherapy and secondary contact physiotherapy services to stakeholders/consumers to achieve excellence in patient care, education and research.

This includes:

  • Demonstrating advanced clinical skills in the area of First Point Of Contact (FPOC) or primary contact musculoskeletal
  • Providing service wide physiotherapy clinical and professional advice on specialised clinical areas and service delivery models in the area of musculoskeletal Including taking a lead role in skill development of less experienced staff.
  • This position may be required to provide Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Outpatient follow up clinical services.
