Psychologist or Occupational Therapist or Social Worker
Remuneration package of up to $132,730 p.a., comprising base salary range of $76,747 - $116,332 p.a. (+ applicable allowances/benefits) (HP3), recreational leave loading (17.5%), and employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%).

Clinical Nurse
Remuneration package of up to $128,435 p.a., comprising base salary range of $104,816 - $112,236 p.a. (+ applicable allowances/benefits) (Nurse Grade 6, Band 1), recreational leave loading (17.5%), and employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%).

*Please note, this permanent full-time position is located in Charters Towers*

Eligible health workers who make the move to work with us may receive up to $70,000 in incentive payments under the Queensland Health Workforce Attraction Incentive Scheme (conditions apply). ( https://www.careers.health.qld.gov.au/working-for-us/workforce-attraction-incentive-scheme )

Please note: applies to interstate and international relocation. Eligible workers already working in Queensland within an MM1-MM3 location who relocate to take up this role may also be eligible for this incentive.

About the role

  • Provide a high-quality specialist, case management mental health service to child and youth persons with serious mental health problems and their families in Charters Towers in keeping with national and state requirements. Support the implementation of the Model of Service Delivery, National and State Mental Health policies and plans through active participation of appropriate service delivery activities.
  • Work collaboratively with consumers and multi-disciplinary professionals to provide clinical care and a therapeutic environment conducive to the dignity and well-being of consumers and carers within the Mental Health Service.

Role requirements
Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership (if applicable) with the appropriate registration authority or association. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/ manager, prior to the commencement of clinical duties.
