The Role
Permanent Part-Time 36 hours per week, to join a team of 3 experienced part-time Medical Oncologists.

• Salary package up to $411,562

The Location
Our client is situated on one of Australia’s most beautiful coastal locations with idyllic tropical islands on your doorstep and a relaxed way of life. This is a large regional city with a local population of over 60,000 and a regional population of over 140,000. The local area has a well developed infrastructure and everything you would need and expect from a well developed regional city including great private schools, shopping, restaurants and the beautiful natural tropical surrounds

The Facility
The facility provides inpatient ward rounds and daily outpatient clinical services including telehealth to regional hospitals; with a day unit staffed by oncology nurses, pharmacists and administers treatments 5 days per week. There are no radiotherapy facilities on site.  The hospital has recently enjoyed a major $408 Million overhaul and expansion doubling the number of beds to over 300 and increasing the size by 40,000m2 including a new Emergency Department. This is now a state of the art fully modern hospital and one of Australia’s largest regional healthcare facilities.

The Requirements

• Must have FRACP
• Current AHPRA Registration
• Available for on-call rostering and shift work
