The Role
Emergency Medicine Consultant role featuring a broad case mix, including a substantial number of high acuity and trauma presentations, as well as inter hospital transfers across various regional health service locations.

Requirements

• Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA)
• Fellowship with the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience in Emergency Medicine at a senior level and contemporary knowledge of professional issues and trends.
• Highly developed communication, interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• Significant experience in rural and remote Emergency Medicine provision and sound understanding of remote area health service provision  (desirable).
